How to Do a Lash Lift at Home — Step by Step Guide
Share
A lash lift is one of the most transformative beauty treatments you can do — and the good news is you don't need a salon appointment to get stunning results. With the right kit and a little patience, you can achieve beautifully lifted, curled lashes from the comfort of your own home.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes from the root, giving the appearance of longer, fuller lashes without extensions or mascara. Results typically last 6 to 8 weeks.
What you'll need
Everything you need comes included in the Glomi Lash Lift Kit — no extras required. The kit includes a perm solution, fixation solution, nourishing treatment, cleanser, lift pads in multiple sizes and applicator tools.
Step by step
- Cleanse your lashes thoroughly and remove all traces of makeup and oil
- Select the right size lift pad for your eye shape and apply to your eyelid
- Apply a thin layer of perm solution to your lashes and leave for 10-12 minutes
- Remove the perm solution and apply fixation solution for a further 10-12 minutes
- Apply the nourishing treatment for 3-5 minutes to condition your lashes
- Use the cleanser to remove all residue and gently remove the lift pad
Tips for best results
- Always do a patch test 24 hours before your first treatment
- Choose the right pad size — too large and you won't get enough lift, too small and lashes may over-curl
- Keep your eyes completely closed throughout the treatment
- Avoid getting lashes wet for 24 hours after treatment
