How to Do Eyebrow Lamination at Home — Complete Step by Step Guide

Eyebrow lamination is one of the most requested salon treatments right now — and with the Glomi Eyebrow Lamination Kit you can achieve the same results at home for a fraction of the cost. Here's your complete step by step guide.

What you'll need

Everything is included in the Glomi Eyebrow Lamination Kit:

  • Perm solution
  • Fixation solution
  • Nutrition solution
  • Cleanser
  • Y-shaped brushes
  • Mascara wands
  • Plastic film
  • Application tools

Before you start

Always perform a patch test 24 hours before your first treatment. Apply a small amount of the perm solution to the inside of your wrist and leave for 24 hours. If no reaction occurs, you're safe to proceed.

Step by step guide

Step 1 — Cleanse Use the cleanser to remove all makeup, oil and product from your brows. Dry thoroughly — moisture will affect the results.

Step 2 — Brush and position Using the Y-shaped brush, comb your brow hairs upward into the position you want them to set. This is the shape they'll hold after treatment so take your time getting it right.

Step 3 — Apply perm solution Apply the perm solution to your brows using the mascara wand, working from root to tip. Cover with plastic film and leave for 8-10 minutes — less time for fine brows, more for coarser brows.

Step 4 — Remove and apply fixation solution Remove the plastic film and perm solution with a damp cotton pad. Immediately apply the fixation solution in the same way. Cover with plastic film and leave for 8-10 minutes.

Step 5 — Apply nutrition solution Remove the fixation solution and apply the nourishing nutrition solution to condition and strengthen your brow hairs. Leave for 3-5 minutes.

Step 6 — Cleanse and style Remove the nutrition solution and gently cleanse your brows. Using the mascara wand, brush your brows into their final position while they're still slightly damp.

Aftercare

  • Avoid getting brows wet for 24 hours
  • Don't apply makeup directly to brows for 24 hours
  • Brush daily with a spoolie to maintain the shape
  • Apply a nourishing brow oil or serum to keep hairs healthy

Tips for best results

  • The longer you leave each solution, the more dramatic the result — but don't exceed the recommended times
  • For the most natural look, set brows slightly upward and outward
  • Results last 4-6 weeks depending on your brow hair type and aftercare
