Morning vs Evening Skincare Routine — Which Tools to Use When
Share
The tools you use and when you use them can make a significant difference to your results. Here's how to build the perfect morning and evening routine with Glomi tools.
Morning routine — de-puff, brighten and protect
Your morning routine should focus on reducing overnight puffiness, boosting circulation and preparing your skin for the day ahead.
Step 1 — Cleanse Start with a gentle cleanse to remove any overnight skincare product residue.
Step 2 — Ice Globes (5 minutes) Use your Stainless Steel Ice Globes straight from the fridge to de-puff and wake up your skin. Roll outward and upward across your face and neck.
Step 3 — Serum Apply your favourite vitamin C or brightening serum.
Step 4 — Facial Roller (3-5 minutes) Use your Rose Quartz Facial Roller to push your serum into the skin and encourage lymphatic drainage.
Step 5 — Moisturiser and SPF Finish with moisturiser and SPF — essential every single morning.
Evening routine — treat, repair and restore
Your evening routine is when you treat specific skin concerns. Your skin repairs itself overnight so this is the best time to use your more active tools.
Step 1 — Double cleanse Remove makeup and SPF thoroughly before treating your skin.
Step 2 — LED Face Mask (15-30 minutes) Use your 7 Colour LED Face Mask while relaxing — red light for anti-ageing, blue for acne, green for pigmentation.
Step 3 — Derma Roller (2-3 times per week) If it's a derma rolling night, use your Derma Roller now — after the LED mask, before your serum.
Step 4 — Serum and moisturiser Apply a nourishing serum and night cream to lock in moisture overnight.
Step 5 — Gua Sha (optional) Finish with a few minutes of gua sha using a facial oil to relax tension and encourage overnight drainage.
